Blades
  1. This is a beautiful unmarked ''Memphis Novelty Works'' Confederate Cavalry saber in an original Confederate brass mounted scabbard.  The brass mounts have a lovely aged patina as well as the Memphis ''butter knife'' guard and pommel.  At some point during the war the Cavalry horse went down causing the branch on the guard to bend inward. This gives the sword great character in my opinion and is pleasing to the eye.  This saber retains the original wrap.  The original wire was fragmented and has been replaced.  The blade has the classic unstopped fuller with a smooth gray patina and a few small service dings.  This sword was purchased from the Lee Hadaway collection in Virginia.  This is a 100% authentic Memphis Novelty sword and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity.  $5,895.

  2. Here is a really cool 1816 model bayonet altered to a pot hook or body hook.  The soldier took his time with this one.  This one is missing a small potion of the socket but it does not take away from this fine relic.  Excavated at Shiloh, Tennessee.  SOLD

  3. This is a nice 1840 Heavy (wrist breaker) Cavalry saber.  This sword has a beautiful bright blade marked ''C & J'' , and the brass guard has a lovely mellow patina.  The sword handle has been rewrapped but the wire is original to the sword.  The scabbard is nice and has some pitting toward the drag.  This is an over all great sword, and the most heavily used sword of The Civil War.  $650.

  4. Great classic Ames 1860 model light cavalry saber.  This sword has the straight line makers mark of  Ames Manufacturing Co. Chicopee Massachusetts.  The swords has a very early and desirable production date of 1861 with the US stamp and inspectors initials of J.H..  This sword is completely original with some of the leather still intact.  The scabbard is in wonderful condition.  It is not very easy to find an early date Ames. SOLD
