Relics

  1. This is a very cool collection of model 1853 Enfield nose caps four of which still retain a fragment of the wood stock.  One is extra special in that I have shown this to many gun collectors, and it is a mystery.  It is clearly an Enfield nose cap with only one stud and an extra long channel or spru.  Very interesting.  All were dug here in middle Tennessee campsites.  $75.

  2. A nice .58 caliber Federal cartridge box.  You will find the leather to be quit pliable and in very decent shape.  Both buckles and brass finial are present.  All this box need is a US boxplate and the tins are missing as is often the case.  $245.

  3. Decent Colt revolver gun tool.  This gun tool is in stable condition and are one of the better tools to find.  Dug in Shelbyville, TN.  $22.

  4. This is a wonderful piece of rarity.  This is a 2'' section of a CS marked Leech and Rigdon spur.  This fine artifact was dug at Brice's Crossroads in Mississippi.  This would be a great relic for restoration or a neat southern star to display with pride.  $225.

  5. Very nice condition Federal cap box made by C.S. Storms.  The stitching is good, and both loops still strong. The brass finial is nice and mellow.  Nice Civil War leather. $119.

  6. Very nice Springfield gun tool and nipple wrench.  Found in Murfreesboro, TN.  $20.

  7. Nice Confederate solid cast scabbard tip.  this is the round type you do not see as often as the triangular type cast tips.  Great relic from Nashville, Tennessee.  $45.

  8. Very nice condition Confederate manufactured scabbard tip made of sheet iron and a pewter tip.  This one is in better shape than you could hope for.  Just as dug and in wonderful shape.  Excavate in Virginia.  $95.
